First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looked at whether teaching new mothers about breastfeeding through digital storytelling (short videos or narrated stories) helps them breastfeed more successfully and feel more confident. A total of 216 postpartum women took part, with half receiving digital storytelling education and the other half getting standard hospital teaching. Researchers measured breastfeeding self-efficacy and success after the education.

What this could lead to
If effective, this approach could offer a simple, engaging way to teach new mothers about breastfeeding, potentially improving their confidence and success.
