Summary

This study aims to see if support from fellow veterans, called peer specialists, can help veterans use VA mental health apps on their phones more effectively to reduce psychological distress. It will test different amounts of peer support to find the right level for each person. The goal is to make these widely available apps more helpful for veterans struggling with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and stress.
