Summary

This study is testing a virtual peer support program designed to help Latinx teenagers with type 1 diabetes use helpful devices like insulin pumps and glucose monitors more often and confidently. The program, called DREAM, was created with input from families and healthcare teams to provide culturally sensitive education and mentorship. Researchers will see if the program is practical and acceptable, and if it improves health outcomes and reduces family stress related to diabetes management.
