First seen Dec 10, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study tested whether a program pairing older Latino adults with Parkinson's disease with a peer partner could help them become more physically active. Ten participants wore activity monitors, watched educational videos, met weekly with a partner online, and joined virtual exercise classes for 8 weeks. The goal was to see if the program was practical and liked by participants, and whether it improved their activity levels, motivation, and mood.
