Summary
This study tested whether training peer mentors to lead a healthy lifestyle program could increase physical activity in Appalachian high school teens. Over 500 students participated, comparing the peer-mentor approach to a teacher-led program. The goal was to see if teens helping teens leads to better health habits and weight management.
