Summary

This study tests whether a program called CourtConnect, where peer recovery specialists meet with people in courthouses, can increase substance use disorder treatment and reduce overdose and incarceration. The program provides information, referrals, and up to three months of follow-up support. Researchers will compare outcomes for 600 participants who receive CourtConnect versus those who only get information about local services.
