Summary
This study tests a school-based program called Peer Group Connection - Middle School (PGC-MS) for students entering middle school. The program uses peer-led sessions to boost school engagement and social-emotional skills, aiming to delay sexual activity, smoking, drinking, and drug use. About 1,400 students will be randomly assigned to either the program or regular classes, and researchers will compare outcomes over 16 months.
