Can online coaches ease the pain of spinal injury recovery?
NCT ID NCT06677905
Summary
This study is testing whether an online program called SCI&U, which connects people with recent spinal cord injuries to trained peer coaches, can help them better manage their health after leaving the hospital. Participants will have up to 14 online coaching sessions over 6 months, focusing on setting goals and building skills. Researchers want to see if this support reduces emotional distress and increases confidence compared to usual peer support.
