NCT ID NCT04372953
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study compares two methods of giving breathing support (PEEP) to very premature babies right after birth. About 900 babies born between 23 and 28 weeks will be randomly assigned to receive either a steady PEEP level or a high-then-low approach. The goal is to see which method reduces the risk of death or long-term lung disease.
