Summary

This study looks at how much the plastic clasps on a type of partial denture wear down when they rub against either natural teeth or zirconia caps. Ten adults with missing back teeth on both sides of the lower jaw will be split into two groups. Researchers will use special microscopes to check the clasp surfaces when the dentures are first placed, then again after 6 and 12 months. The goal is to see which type of tooth support causes less wear, helping dentists make better choices for long-lasting dentures.
