Robot-Assisted surgery in kids: what are the real risks?
NCT ID NCT07438704
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study will look back at the medical records of 100 children who had robotic surgery for digestive, urinary, gynecologic, or chest problems at a specialized children's hospital. The goal is to see how often complications happen within 30 days after surgery, and to track recovery, pain, and any need for repeat procedures. No new treatments are being tested—this is about gathering real-world data to better understand the safety and outcomes of robotic surgery in children.
