First seen Feb 18, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study follows 500 children aged 6–17 with immune thrombocytopenia (ITP), a rare disease where the immune system destroys platelets, causing bruising and bleeding. Researchers will collect data on symptoms, treatments, and recovery over time to build a model that predicts how each child will do. The goal is to better understand the disease and improve care, not to test a new treatment.
