First seen Apr 02, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study looked at 100 children (ages 6-18) with Crohn's disease who were in remission after initial nutrition therapy. It compared two maintenance approaches: a cyclic diet providing all daily calories for a period, versus a daily supplement providing 25% of calories. The goal was to see which better prevents disease relapse over 12 months.
