New hope for kids with rare blood disorder: early drug test aims to boost treatment success
NCT ID NCT06430788
Summary
This study is testing if giving a drug called emapalumab right after diagnosis can help children and young adults with severe aplastic anemia. Aplastic anemia is a rare condition where the bone marrow stops making enough blood cells. Researchers want to see if adding emapalumab early makes standard treatments work better and helps patients' blood counts recover faster.
