NCT ID NCT04825587

First seen Jun 02, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tests if adding a second ligament repair (ALL) to standard ACL surgery in children lowers the chance of the ACL graft failing over time. About 240 kids aged 18 and under who need ACL surgery will be randomly assigned to get ACL repair alone or with the extra ALL repair. The goal is to see if the combined approach leads to fewer re-tears and better long-term knee function.
