First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looked at how eating different amounts of pecans (6%, 13%, or 20% of daily calories) for 28 days affects cholesterol, blood sugar, and appetite in 108 adults who are overweight or have high cholesterol. Participants either ate pecans daily or stuck to their usual diet. Researchers measured blood fats, insulin, and hunger levels to see if pecans can help control heart disease risk.
