Summary
This study looked at whether pea protein supplements work as well as whey protein for building muscle and strength in healthy young adults. 34 people took either pea or whey protein twice a day for 8 weeks while doing a resistance training program. Researchers measured changes in lean body mass, strength, and metabolic markers to compare the two proteins.
