NCT ID NCT05480072

Summary

This small, early-stage study tested whether a dietary supplement called PEA could help people with opioid addiction. The goal was to see if PEA could reduce stress, cravings, and pain sensitivity, which often lead to relapse. Twelve participants on stable medication treatment received either PEA or a placebo to compare effects.
