Summary
This study directly compared four common approaches for managing Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) over 12 weeks. Researchers assigned 192 women with PCOS to take either metformin, inositol supplements, follow a calorie-restricted diet, or use all three treatments combined. The goal was to find out which approach most effectively improves insulin resistance, weight, and menstrual regularity.
