Light therapy may reduce radiation damage in cancer survivors

Summary
This study tests if a special light therapy (called PBM) can reduce swelling and scarring caused by radiation in head and neck cancer patients. About 60 people who finished radiation at least 3 months ago will be randomly assigned to get real or fake light treatments. The goal is to see if the therapy can improve tissue thickness and ease long-term side effects like neck tightness and difficulty swallowing.
