Massive study tracks 3000 liver patients to predict survival

NCT ID NCT07449793

Summary

This study follows 3000 people with primary biliary cholangitis (PBC), a chronic liver disease, to understand how their response to standard medication affects long-term health. Researchers will track patients over time to see if certain blood test results can predict who is less likely to develop serious liver complications. The goal is to create a model that helps doctors better manage this lifelong condition.
