Doctors study how patients really feel about Post-Surgery pain checks
NCT ID NCT07389330
First seen Feb 05, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looks at how patients experience pain monitoring after planned general surgery. Researchers want to know if patients find these checks helpful or stressful, and how that affects their trust in nurses and willingness to report pain. About 300 adults will fill out surveys and some will be interviewed. No treatments are tested—only standard care is observed.
