First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study explores whether moving a person's leg for them (passive limb movement) can be used as a simple, non-invasive test to check blood vessel health. Researchers will measure blood flow changes in the leg artery using ultrasound in both young and older adults, including those in cardiac rehab. The goal is to develop a practical tool for doctors to assess heart disease risk and guide rehabilitation.
