New program aims to close cancer care gaps for minority communities

Summary

This study tests a new way to help people with cancer, especially those from African American, Hispanic, or underserved areas. The program provides extra support and resources to reduce distress and improve quality of life. About 375 adults with suspicious cancer findings or a cancer diagnosis will take part. The goal is to see if this approach leads to better outcomes and less depression.
