Scientists hunt for clues to overcome drug resistance in advanced breast cancer

Summary
This study aims to understand why some advanced breast cancers with BRCA gene mutations stop responding to a specific class of drugs called PARP inhibitors. Researchers will collect tumor and blood samples from 120 patients to look for specific biological markers linked to drug resistance. The goal is to gather knowledge that could help predict treatment outcomes and guide future therapies.
