Brain surgery plus rehab: a new hope for Parkinson's mobility?
NCT ID NCT04953637
Summary
This study is testing if adding physical therapy to a common Parkinson's brain surgery helps people move around their community more safely and independently. Researchers are comparing 60 people who get the surgery plus physical therapy to those who get the surgery alone. The goal is to see if the combined approach improves mobility and reduces falls more effectively.
