Can a simple metronome beat help Parkinson's patients walk better?
NCT ID NCT05864157
Summary
This study is testing whether specific walking training using metronomes can improve how people with Parkinson's disease walk. Participants will complete 12 training sessions using slow and fast metronome beats on a treadmill and overground walking. Researchers will measure walking distance, step length, and brain changes before and after training to see if this approach helps.
