NCT ID NCT06846658

First seen Apr 02, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study aims to find early biological markers for Parkinson's disease and similar brain disorders by analyzing samples from the nose, blood, and urine. Researchers will compare results from 180 people—including those with Parkinson's, multiple system atrophy, Lewy body dementia, and healthy volunteers—to build a model that helps doctors diagnose these conditions earlier and more accurately. Participants provide tissue and fluid samples and undergo smell tests and brain scans.
