Doctors track new Parkinson's treatment in everyday patients

NCT ID NCT07227896

Not yet recruiting Disease control Sponsor: AbbVie Source: ClinicalTrials.gov ↗

Summary

This study aims to gather real-world information on how well an already-approved Parkinson's disease treatment works and how safe it is for patients in their regular care. About 100 adults with advanced Parkinson's who are newly prescribed this medication by their doctor will be observed for up to 6 months. The main goal is to see if the treatment reduces the amount of daily 'off' time when symptoms are worse, and to monitor its impact on patients' quality of life and other symptoms.
