Heart health may hold key to Parkinson's memory gap
NCT ID NCT07262658
Summary
This study looked at why Hispanic people with Parkinson's disease may experience more thinking and memory problems than non-Hispanic white patients. Researchers examined 40 people with Parkinson's to understand if heart-related health issues like diabetes, high blood pressure, and obesity play a role. The study collected health information and thinking tests but did not test any treatments.
