NCT ID NCT06289582

First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study uses special PET scans to measure brain inflammation in people with early or suspected Parkinson's disease and in healthy volunteers. Researchers will compare scans taken at the start, after 12 months, and after 24 months to see how inflammation changes over time. The goal is to better understand the role of inflammation in Parkinson's, not to test a new treatment. About 60 participants will be enrolled.
