Can a simple test tell Parkinson's from look-alike diseases?

NCT ID NCT07604883

First seen May 23, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026

Summary

This study aims to find biological markers in blood, urine, and stool that can help doctors distinguish Parkinson's disease from other similar brain disorders early on. Researchers will study 200 adults aged 40-80 with early symptoms, plus healthy volunteers, over 12-18 months. While participants won't receive direct treatment, the findings could lead to simpler, non-invasive diagnostic tools.
