Scientists wire up Veterans' brains to crack code of Parkinson's falls

Summary
This study aims to understand why people with Parkinson's disease lose their balance and fall, which is a major problem with no good treatments. Researchers will have 100 Veterans with Parkinson's wear sensors at home to track their movements and will also record brain signals from some who have special implanted devices. The goal is to gather detailed information to help design future therapies that improve balance and prevent falls.
