Summary

This study tested a brief, web-based program for parents of children with anxiety who were waiting for cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). The program aimed to reduce how much parents accommodate their child's anxiety, which can make anxiety worse. 47 parents took part, and the study measured changes in parent accommodation and child anxiety symptoms over 6 months. Results may offer a way to help families while they wait for treatment.
