What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance

parent training in positive behavioral support

What this could lead to

If it works, this could provide a low-cost, culturally adapted way for families in South Punjab to manage autism-related challenging behaviors at home.

What could go wrong

This is a small, early-stage study with no control group, so results may not be generalizable. Success depends on parents consistently applying techniques, which may be difficult in real-world settings.
