New program aims to guide latino parents through heart baby care
NCT ID NCT07023367
Summary
This study is testing a Parent Navigator Program to see if it helps Latino parents of babies with congenital heart disease get connected to important developmental follow-up services. Researchers will compare families who receive weekly support calls from a 'navigator' to families who get standard care, checking if the program leads to more doctor visits, better baby development, and less parent stress after six months. The goal is to improve long-term health and development for these infants by helping their parents access care.
