First seen Aug 05, 2026 · Last updated Aug 06, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study uses an online questionnaire to gather information from 15,000 Spanish-speaking adults about their sexual health, behaviors, and any experiences of altered consciousness during orgasm. The goal is to better understand the range of sexual function and pleasure, and to estimate how common these intense, mind-altering experiences are. Participation is open to adults 18 and older who can read Spanish and have internet access.

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

What this could lead to
This study could map the landscape of sexual health and pleasure across Spanish-speaking adults, potentially informing future research on sexual well-being and the mind-body connection during orgasm.
What could go wrong
As an observational survey, it cannot prove cause and effect. Responses are self-reported and may not represent all populations, and the findings may not lead directly to treatments.
