New scan analysis could predict pancreatic cancer risk without surgery

NCT ID NCT04275557

Summary

This study aims to develop better tools to predict which pancreatic cysts might turn into cancer. Researchers will collect medical scans, blood samples, and health information from over 1,100 people with pancreatic cysts or tumors. By analyzing this data, they hope to create non-invasive tests that help doctors decide when surgery is truly necessary versus when monitoring is safe.
