Doctors test heat therapy to fight tough pancreatic tumors
NCT ID NCT05723107
Summary
This early-stage study is testing whether a targeted heat treatment, delivered via a special scope, is safe and tolerable when added to chemotherapy for people with advanced pancreatic cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. The goal is to see if this combined approach can help control the disease. The study will enroll about 15 people whose cancer has not spread to distant organs.
