Scientists test 'Early Warning' blood test for pancreatic cancer

NCT ID NCT07448376

Summary

This study aims to see if a new, detailed blood test can provide an early warning that pancreatic cancer is returning or spreading to the liver after surgery. Researchers will collect blood from 20 patients with operable pancreatic cancer and analyze it for tiny cancer cells and other markers. The goal is to gather knowledge that could one day help doctors catch recurrence sooner and guide treatment decisions.
