Blood test may predict pancreatic cancer recurrence before scans
NCT ID NCT05788744
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether a simple blood test can find tiny bits of tumor DNA (ctDNA and eccDNA) in people with pancreatic cancer that can be surgically removed. The goal is to see if these tests can predict if the cancer will come back early and help doctors monitor patients more closely. About 1,000 participants will be followed over time to compare standard care with extra blood-based monitoring.
