First seen Mar 08, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study looks at whether tumor cells found in the portal vein (a major liver blood vessel) can help predict if pancreatic cancer will come back or spread after surgery. Researchers will collect these cells during an endoscopic ultrasound and combine them with other tests. The goal is to find early warning signs for recurrence in 20 patients with resectable or borderline resectable pancreatic cancer.
