New imaging method may predict pancreatic cancer survival
NCT ID NCT06849063
First seen Feb 18, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study tests whether a special MRI technique called 3D-MRE can measure the stiffness of pancreatic tumors and help predict how the disease will progress. Researchers will enroll 200 adults with pancreatic cancer and compare imaging results with actual tumor hardness and treatment response. The goal is to develop a non-invasive tool to guide therapy, not to treat the cancer directly.
