Scans may reveal which cancer treatments work best

NCT ID NCT02361320

Summary

This study aims to see if special CT scans taken before and during cancer treatment can help doctors predict how well chemotherapy will work for patients with pancreatic or liver cancers. Researchers are enrolling 259 people with these cancers who are scheduled to receive standard chemotherapy. The goal is to find better ways to monitor treatment and potentially personalize care based on how the tumor appears on scans.
