Scientists hunt for pancreatic cancer clues in tiny blood particles

NCT ID NCT02393703

Summary

This study aims to understand how pancreatic cancer communicates and spreads by examining tiny particles called exosomes in the blood and tissue. Researchers will compare samples from 181 patients with pancreatic cancer to those with non-cancerous pancreatic conditions to establish normal values. The findings will help identify connections between these cell messengers and disease outcomes, laying groundwork for future research into potential treatments.
