New hope for tough pancreatic cancer: trial targets specific genetic flaw
NCT ID NCT07409272
Summary
This study is testing whether adding a new drug called setidegrasib to standard chemotherapy helps people with advanced pancreatic cancer that has a specific genetic change (KRAS G12D mutation) live longer. About 614 adults whose cancer has spread and cannot be cured by surgery will be randomly assigned to receive either the new drug or a placebo alongside their chemotherapy. The main goal is to see if the combination extends survival and delays cancer progression compared to chemotherapy alone.
