Breakthrough trial pits new pancreatic cancer pill against standard chemo

Summary
This study is testing whether a new oral drug called daraxonrasib works better than standard chemotherapy for people with advanced pancreatic cancer that has spread. The trial involves 501 patients whose cancer has continued to grow despite previous treatment. Researchers will compare how long patients live and how long their cancer stays controlled on the new drug versus standard treatments.
