Old drug, new hope: repurposing ATRA to fight tough pancreatic tumors
NCT ID NCT04241276
Summary
This trial is testing whether adding an existing drug called ATRA to standard chemotherapy helps control locally advanced pancreatic cancer better. About 170 patients will receive either the standard two-drug combo or the standard combo plus ATRA. Researchers will measure if the three-drug combination slows cancer growth, helps more patients become eligible for surgery, and improves survival compared to standard treatment alone.
