Summary

This study looks at people who had part or all of their pancreas removed (pancreatectomy) to understand how the surgery affects their body's ability to control blood sugar and digest food. Researchers will review medical records from 3500 patients to see how different surgical methods and the amount of pancreas left behind impact long-term health and quality of life. The goal is to help doctors give better, more personalized treatment advice for future patients.
