Digital helper aims to ease suffering for seriously ill patients
NCT ID NCT06107946
Summary
This small pilot study tested a digital decision-support tool called MuSt-PC, designed to help doctors and nurses better manage multiple symptoms in seriously ill patients receiving palliative care. The study involved 44 adult patients with life-limiting illnesses and at least two bothersome symptoms. Researchers measured whether patients could use the symptom-tracking system and whether the tool helped reduce their symptom burden over time.
